The Baltimore Music Conference is now well on it's way. September 24th & 25th will find Patterson Park rockin' with the music of Baltimore!! Committees are now being formed to handle all the preparation for this exciting event. just a tropic in which you guys can tell me by answering me this question. I'm loseing something here or sene has forgot the little people. I seen so many productions companies popping up and if you not down wit any crew then you not shit. In all of the 10 plus yrs I have be a Dj and sometimes promoter. I have never seen so many crews in my life. Before a cat could get a gig by just being a good Dj.
Now, if you not apart of some group then there's no way that any underground Dj like myself can gigs, if you can get one. I was lucky for getting the few gigs that I did get. I think that the problem is that there are some very gifted Djs out there that don't have the means to get put down.

I surpose an open form for the ones of Undergrounder that are true to the game. That just want to be heard. This isn't bout the cash or fame. I did some sereaching as of late and I just remebered why I'd become a DJ in the first place. Its the music and my love for it. I was lost in what others began to think of my style of music and in the begining it didn't think about the ppl, I just when on what I felt and I 'd losted for a little while but I found it another and now us a community need a form or a place to help the ones who don't have a crew to hook wit.

New report shows that frequent sexual activity may reduce a man's risk of prostate cancer!

Frequent sexual activity may reduce a man's risk of prostate cancer, according to a study in the April 7 Journal of the American Medical Association.

The cancer risk in men who reported more than 20 monthly ejaculations was 33 percent less than that of other men, the Harvard University study showed.

"Almost all the previous research showed sexual activity increased cancer risk; men worried that by being very active, they put themselves at increased risk,'' said Michael F. Leitzmann, the lead researcher now at the National Cancer Institute. "Looking at the data in a little bit more detail, our findings suggest that ejaculation may even be associated with aslight decrease in prostate cancer risk.''

Researchers surveyed almost 30,000 health professionals, 1,449 of whom developed prostate cancer, and found an active sex life wasn't linked to a higher cancer risk in most men.

The latest study should be "reassuring to those men who may be more active than others," said Dr. Durado Brooks, prostate cancer director for the American Cancer Society.

One theory is that frequent ejaculations help flush out cancer-causing chemicals or reduce the development of calcifications that have been linked with prostate cancer.

But relatively few men in the study reported heavy sexual activity, so more research is needed to establish whether there is, in fact, a link, said Dr. Michael Leitzmann, a researcher at the National Cancer Institute who led the study.

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men, after skin cancer. One in every six men will develop it. The American Cancer Society estimates that thisyear, 230,900 new cases will be diagnosed and that about 29,900 men will die from prostate cancer.
